The Small Business Development Agency is looking for interns to work in their Quality and Standards Department. If you are interested then this 12-month paid internship could be for you.

The Small Business Development Agency, known as SEDA, is looking for interns to join a 12-month paid internship programme – reporting to the Manager: Technology Transfer.

The purpose of the internship programme is to provide appropriate and relevant work experience which is in line with the intern’s qualification.

Key Performance Area

  • Assess small enterprises for the benefit of TTF
  • Develop business cases for the adjudication panel
  • Administer the technology transfer fund nationally
  • Establish and maintain an accurate database
  • Verification of supplied technology received at the client’s premises
  • Contribute to the review of TTF policy and processes
  • Conduct impact analysis on the technology intervention on beneficiaries
  • Conduct TTF awareness workshops

Required Minimum Qualification

  • Matric and a three-year tertiary qualification (N6) in Commerce/ Project Management/ Technology/ Engineering
  • A Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Commerce/ Project Management/ Technology/ Engineering would be added as an advantage

There is no minimum required work experience.
