Job Description: Debonairs Pizza, a leading fast-food pizza franchise in South Africa, is offering exciting career opportunities for motivated individuals to join our team. Available Positions:
- Restaurant Manager: Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff management, customer service, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assistant Manager: Assists the restaurant manager in managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant.
- Kitchen Staff: Responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Positions include pizza chefs, prep cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Front-of-House Staff: Provide friendly and efficient customer service, take orders, process payments, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Positions include cashiers, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
- Delivery Drivers: Responsible for delivering orders to customers in a timely and professional manner. Must have a valid driver’s license and good knowledge of local routes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant, including kitchen and dining areas.
- Prepare and cook food items according to Debonairs Pizza’s recipes and standards.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the safe handling and storage of food products.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries, stock rotation, and maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Work as part of a team to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- For delivery driver positions, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
